I am in LOVE with patterns. It's like a light switch just turn on in my head after I saw this amazing sky blue chair online with a white paisley pattern on it! Now...for anyone that knows me, I'm a simple-classy person. No fluff or clutter...simple lines and colors. Booooorrrring. LOL! Not anymore! I want to put colors and patterns together in a room now and buy random patterned furniture to build a theme around...! Buuuuut I figured out it's still all in my head and I'm unable to actually purchase something I feel so foreign about. Beau confirmed this for me when I kept reaching for the clear based rectangular lamp (because it would go with ANYTHING...) rather than the gold-ish round paisley lamp that he though would go well with our new bedroom set. LOL! No, he's not gay...but loves to shop! LOL! He's lived and worked for enough women to know how to put a living room together and what to purchase to do so. :) Thank you Tina and Chrissy. HA!
Anyhow...Onto Manti. This last Saturday Beau and I had the honor of joining my Aunt Karrie and some of her friends/family in the Manti temple as she went through for the first time! What a spiritual day. :) Beau and I left right after work on Friday, loaded up on goodies and caffeine and drove through the night. We made it to Aunt Karrie's a little after 4am and plenty of deer scares while driving 90mph. We slept on her love seat as best as we could for the next few hours and woke just before she left to chat for a few minutes. :) Soon thereafter we met up with her in the temple. Lets just say I'll never forget the day Beau and I decided to start a family. Thank you Lydia Childs. :)
So, onto babies!!!! Part of that spiritual Saturday was a perfect moment in time when Beau and I seated next to each other happily cried about our joyful decision to start a family. We are so excited to be on this journey together. With so many life changes happening right now...I can't wait to settle down in our new apartment (Tucson) and make it our own!
Speaking of Tucson....! :) Beau was given, rather begged, to go down to Tucson to be a director for Catalina Village! It's this old, run down sad looking assisted living home....but with a little love and time, we're hoping to make it a place people want to be. :) We drove down a month or so ago and found an apartment to live in....(LOVE IT!) called Encantada at Riverside Crossing on River Road. We'll be the first tenants in our apartment which has granite counters, pendant lighting and wood floors! YAY! We decided on a 2bed/2bath...so we can have visitors down and such!
I will be a part time wife for now.....staying 2 nights up in Gilbert and working three days a week. :) Oh...and did I mention I can't wait to be a mom?! :)
