Twilight...

Literally 4 years after the first book came out, I'm finally getting into the series. LOL!  My boss gave me the first book on CD to listen to on my way to and from work and I'm hooked.  The books are amaaaaazing....!  I randomly got to see the first movie shortly after finishing the first book...but it was on TV so I lost 45 minutes of the whole two hours and had to actually watch commercials. LOL!!!  Anyhow, I'm about to go buy the trilogy of movies since I'm WAAAY behind and the new one comes out in November I think. :)  It's funny....Edward is this untouchable being who is completely irresistible and romantic.  He plays with the emotions of Bella and the reader so much with his constant magnetism and mental anguish at the harm he could bring her.  It's the forbidden love which hearts that have gone through understand and younger hearts yearn for because it's intriguing.    Everybody wants what they can't have...right? :)
So I kind of cheated and read about the second book in the series, New Moon.  After reading Stephenie Meyer's Bio and how she came to write the twilight series I figured with the warning about needing to read New Moon twice, I'd watch the movie and then listen to the book on CD.  She suggested this because for some readers, the anticipation of Edward leaving and possibly coming back had them skipping to dessert and missing the meat and potatoes of the book.  :)   So, today I'm going to purchase and watch the movies. :)  I know that the book is SO much more than the movies could ever be, so it doesn't really bother me that I'm kind of going backwards.
Gotta love the anticipation and butterflies!
