There are SO many exciting and wonderful things that have happened in the last few weeks...and with school taking over my brain, I figured I'd better spend a few minutes updating everyone! (or at least keeping track of it myself as my brain can hardly remember....LOL!!)
Ring: Okay....he's got the ring...and it MUST be burning a hole in his pocket because he keeps telling me that he can't wait to propose, and wants to do it now! LOL! He would never do it over Skype, but apparently is having a hard time waiting to see me in person.... :)
Funny story about the ring.....so I pretty much figured out the ring that I wanted by doing my homework online and gave him the website it was on to see if he could "organically" find it. I gave him a hint as there are HUNDREDS on that site and his homework was to find out which one he thought I may like best. So evening came and we got on Skype to do some "likes/dislikes" comparison. Hahaha....he'll never live this down...the ring I chose was the one he hated most. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally laughed when he was saying that he wasn't a fan of that ring and then we looked at others, but he couldn't figure out which one I liked. I eventually told him which one it was and we both had a good laugh....funny thing is...now we're both in love with it. :) Funny how things change. :)
216: So last night we figured out there are 216 days left until 11-11-2011. We started reading our scriptures 23 days ago (one chapter a night), and there are 239 chapters in the BOM. SO as of last night, we had 216 days until our original wedding date and 216 chapters left to read until we were done with the BOM. LOL! Coincidence? I am 7 months and 1 day away from being Mrs. Lydia Marie Ayers. SOOOOO EXCITED!!! :)
Houses!: Beau reminded me the other day about finding a house for ourselves. LOL! Usually I'm the one planning SOOOO much and so far ahead of time....LOL! I've been so busy though....I hadn't even thought about our living situation. I guess I figured we'd just live at the place he's renting for a while until we found our own. BUT...I've been on Windermere checking out homes in Gilbert, AZ for a few days now and WOW has the market crashed down there. We can get a 1700sqft home, built in the last 7 years, with all amenities we like for about 100k. LOL! Good timing....for sure. So I've picked out a few that I like, but don't have my heart set on yet because we still need to get pre approved....etc. FORTUNATELY, his dad is a realtor, so no worries there!! :) Funny thing is...I've been working on my credit since January and by the time we get all of our plans put together and turn in paperwork to get started on the loan, I'll be sittin' pretty credit score wise. WOW.....all of these things coming together with one purpose......amazing. :) HE does work in mysterious ways. hm. :)
Wrinkles: OMG...I'm SO blaming Beau for the little "smile lines" I'm acquiring by my eyes....! I'm 28 and I JUST started getting them. BOOOOO. Rachel Tucker (Joe's wife) was so funny though....she said they're not wrinkles until they start going south......LOL!!!!!!!! She was like "I'm 32 and mine are starting to go south..." HA! I also had the first "what do you use?" eye cream conversation with my girlfriend Shannin yesterday. SO IT STARTS...LOL!!!! I'm feeling like an old lady already. :)
Wow!!! I can't waiiiit until 11.11.11. Blaine will be jealous of the date--he wanted to wait another year just for that! Lol! I want to see the ring, girly! And Gilbert is a lovely place to live--it's where I grew up. LOVED it! Great schools, too. So nice.
