The sweetest thing....

So Beau forwarded me a message today that his mom, Barbara, wanted to send to me...and it's got to be the sweetest thing ever. :)  Her letter below:

Dearest Lydia,

I just wanted to tell you again how wonderful it was to "meet" you for the first time! So good of you to join us in our General Conference tradition of omelet Sunday! As I heard some of the famiy talking to you and visiting with you on the computer I felt as if there was an empty chair at the table. I was already missing you and feeling like one of my little chickens was missing! How is that possible?
 I'm so sorry I was unable to hear you very well today dear! I do much better one on one! I'm also afraid I'm an old dinosaur when it comes to skypeing and so many of the other wonderful ways your generation communicates and stays in touch! I have thus far attained my humble goals of learning how to email on my own and how to do my family history work... but I am thrilled with that!
Sweetheart, it was so kind of you to request that you and Dad become friends on face book! He was so excited and will share and pass along notes and pictures to me, too! I would also like to invite you to email me anytime you get a minute...I am able to hear perfectly through email ha! ha!... but only when and if you are able... I know you're swamped right now with work, school, and a certain young man that has been keeping you up all hours of the day and night!
Well, I just wanted to say that I am so thankful for the tender mercies of the Lord in bringing you into our lives and pray His choicest blessings upon you both as your beautiful courtship continues to unfold! I thought you were so darling and lovely! Thank you for making my beloved son Beau so very happy! We love you already, look so forward to meeting you in the near future, and await you with open arms!

WOW. This has got to be a letter every girl wants to get from a "mom-in-law!"  It was so amazing talking with her and the some of Beau's family....I felt as if I was talking to an old bunch of friends....and we were just catching up. :)
